Enjoyed a Team Outing today on property at Disney’s Old Key West Resort. Olivia’s Cafe is between the gift shop and the pool area.
Decor is cabana-esque with palm fans and timeshare, beachy furniture. These nautical props were outside.
Inside, family vacation shots from past and present adorned the walls of the waiting area. Reminded me of the old Bubble Room nostalgia.
Though their conch fritters, crab cakes and shrimp po’ boy are classic dishes for them, I decide to try their Cuban and house-made chips.
Not the best ever, but not bad. The housemade chips were good.
The shrimp po’ boy, for the record, did look good and was loaded with shrimp.
I had a really great little Key Lime Tart for dessert, which was topped with marscapone and lightly toasted.
I love crushed graham cracker crusts over tart crusts so this tart was perfect for me. It was perfectly tart and sweet. It was decorated with raspberry and mango purées.
A co-worker tried the banana bread pudding sundae. It looked awesome and I would try this if I had a chance to return.
Enjoyed trying Olivia’s Cafe today. Have you been? What have you tried there?
