Tartini’s has been open for about six months now and there is already a buzz about this spot on Facebook community boards.
The restaurant is really beautiful. This gorgeous chandelier adorns the entryway.
Dark woods, a bar wall (not pictured), several flat screen tvs, and comfortable seating offer a rich and stylish, but family friendly atmosphere.
The far wall contains perfectly placed bottles of wine. They also have outdoor seating.
We were served bread once our party was seated.
Every good Italian restaurant has to serve bread. Am I right? These soft bread points were lightly baked and served with seasoned olive oil. Not over seasoned, just the right blend of mild spices.
Several of the entrees come with soup or salad.
The hubs chose this vegetable and pasta soup that had such great flavor.
His entree choice was the chicken Marsala served over penne pasta.
This is the best chicken Marsala I have tasted in quite some time. I would definitely order this on another visit.
I chose the Pasta Del Giardino.
This dish contained artichoke hearts, tomatoes, zucchini, and mushrooms in a pesto sauce over spaghetti. It was fantastic!
For dessert, I had a cannoli…
the hubs tried the Limoncello marscapone cake…
…and the tot enjoyed her sweet, creamy, strawberry gelato.
(Sorry the pic is a bit blurry, 4 year olds are not incredibly patient.)
My mother-in-law joined us and she said she would definitely return, and will recommend this spot to her friends.
I met David, the owner, and he gave us a warm welcome to his wonderful eatery. He also explained that they had recently revamped their menu, so if you have visited before, you need to go back and see what’s new! We will definitely be back.
Tartini’s is located at 6327 S. Orange Ave. in Orlando.
