Day 1 of vacation road trip – 3 new dining spots! Part 3 of 3: dinner

We ate dinner tonite at our Hilton Head Marriott's restaurant, Conroy's. After a long drive and dinner plans off property tomorrow, we opted for this over room service.

They offered an early bird (6 to 7:30 pm) menu of three courses for $19.99.

They started with bread service that had a nice little selection.

I started with she-crab soup.

This soup was rich and delicious. Definitely a good choice.

The hubs had New England clam chowder.

He said the soup had great flavor.

My entree was grouper with mashed potatoes and asparagus.

The fish was seasoned perfectly and the sauce had a light flavor of bourbon.

The hubs had shrimp scampi and pasta.

Mmmm feta!

I finished with Conroy's key lime log.

This dessert was so good, I almost licked the plate. But, being in the South, the belles at the next table would not have been amused.

The hubs enjoyed the bananas foster.

The regular menu is a bit pricey but there are several on property sites to enjoy an equally good and affordable family meal.
