I had the opportunity to try a new place last night on the East side of town called “Duow” (pronounced ‘duo’, the ‘w’ is silent).
If you like sandwiches and t-shirts, you need to check out his brand of fresh-made, fun, fashionable foodie apparel at http://delifreshthreads.com/.
Now on to the food!
The menu options available at Duow all looked tasty so it was pretty hard to decide. Here were the evening specials…
This sandwich consisted of roasted pork loin, bacon, caramelized onion, mixed greens, and roasted garlic aioli on artisan bread. It was tasty! The pork was moist, and the bacon crisp. I loved everything about this sandwich.
I didn’t have room for dessert on this trip, but Duow also serves ice cream and has housemade desserts!
There is a great variety of sandwiches, soups, salads and more available at Duow. Check them out and find your favorite!
Duow is located on Woodbury Road in Orlando, just behind the Waterford Lakes shopping complex. Find out more about Duow, what they’re about, and what they offer at http://duowusa.com/.
The #sandwicheatup event was a lot of fun and it was great to meet new people (and @Twitter peeps) that enjoy supporting local food and local brands. The next #sandwicheat up is already planned for November 19th at another great local location, HotKrust Panini Kitchen (@HotKrust). http://www.hotkrust.com/
Hope to see you at the next @DailyFreshThrds #sandwicheatup!
