Disney Fantasy Cruise – dinner – night 5

When you sleep through your dinner time on a cruise, sometimes you have to venture up to the buffet. However, on a Disney cruise, Cabanas turns into a sit down dinner experience for those who would like another restaurant option.

They even fancied up their linens for evening service.

My appetizer tonight was the Princess Madeleine Salmon Royale.

Marinated slices of salmon with a honey mustard dressing, garnished with onion and capers. Wonderful!
 My entree selection was baked filet of turbot, served over garlic smashed potatoes, sautĂ©ed fennel and a light dill foam.

The hubs had peppercorn crusted New York strip served with a vegetable medley.

My dessert was a lovely Princess Jasmine Bread pudding.

Brioche bread pudding with a vanilla and raspberry sauce garnish.
 We only ordered room service for breakfast a few times, but every evening I would order this lovely cheese tray.

There is a baby bel cheese, slices of white and cheddar, bleu cheese, a smoked Gouda and one other with the white coating around it that I wasn’t sure what it is called. This came with crackers, celery and grapes. You can also ask for more crackers and fruit, if you like and they will happily accommodate.
