Raise your hand if you remember The Crooked Spoon food truck? Well, now, they have a brick and mortar location in Clermont and apparently they’re doing quite well. While they are missed at the local Food Truck Bazaars, at least you can visit them now on a more regular basis! (The restaurant is beautiful.)
On our Sunday visit we opted for brunch.
My father-in-law tried the four cheese and chive omelet that contained swiss, smoked mozzarella, cheddar and farmer’s cheeses.
My mother-in-law couldn’t pass up the opportunity to try the cocoa and coffee burger served with housemade chips.
This burger is made of cocoa and coffee crusted Florida Angus topped with boursin cheese, spring mix, marinated tomato and raspberry chipotle aioli.
I couldn’t resist the lemon ricotta pancakes.
The hubs ordered the Thanksgiving pancakes.
These were stuffed with turkey and stuffing, and topped with cranberry chutney.
We also shared an order of crepes, filled with cream cheese and topped with raspberry sauce.
An Easter Brunch will be available on April 20th. You can find more information at thecrookedspn.com under the events tab.
